Little Hacks!

I know, I know!!! It's been WAYYYYYY to long! But in the time since I've last blogged I had a baby boy!  And life has had me in full spin! And that my loves is the inspiration for today's blog! 

As a mom of now two small children (5 yrs and 11months) I; even as a professional makeup artist, tend to look for short cuts in my regular routine, as well as look for ways to save money and still have my makeup fix! So here are a few "hacks" that have been getting me threw,Especially   for my moms!!

Wipe Off

I looked back on how much I used to spend on makeup remover wipes and I almost fainted! So I started to use baby wipes! YES BABY WIPES! They are not only cheaper (A 3 pack for about $7) but they do the job the same if not better!  They are easy travel and last much longer! 

Cleansing

It is very important to keep a normal face routine. For me I have sensitive skin and need to keep it constant. So I started to think.... A baby's skin is as sensitive as it gets. If their soap keeps their skin clean without being harsh why can't I use that!?? And so yes! A mild baby soap is amazing to cleanse your face! It keeps it clean without it feeling dry. 

High Low

So while everyone is spending top money for all their makeup products;  I like to go the high low route! e.l.f, NYX, IMAN, LA GIRL all have amazing products! Although you can spend the a lot of money on key items like foundation and powder, things like bronzer, concealer, brow pencils and mascara can be purchased in drug stores. Believe it or not some of my favorite products are from the drugstore! 

Tools

I still can't understand why people spend sooooo much money on makeup brushes! There are so many brands that their crushes start at $1 and are just as good if not better than that $30 brush! Brands like Morphe, e.l.f and Real Techniques all have affordable brushes that I swear by!  

And that ladies are my money saving hacks! Hopefully these tip will have you looking at things differently! We don't need to spend a million to look a million!
