Mom Rant

Moms this rant is for you! Saying all the things that you are thinking!

This whole "Makeup Artist" thing is hard!!!!!! Especially when you have a hustler job with a "Susie Homemaker" life! I work my ass off so that I can reach a dream...... a goal. So that I can feel accomplished! HAHAHA what a joke.

For those of you who don't know my story; I am 26 ( Almost 27) years old, married with 2 children.  ( 5 and 1) Juggling being a mother, wife and trying to make my career succeed has been beyond the hardest thing I've ever had to do! AND I MEAN EVER!

Now lets start with time! There is never enough time out there! Add 1 child to the mix.... yea its hard, but you deal. Then you get into the flow of things and then BAM....... your time is officially messed up again because another child is added to the mix! Now I love my babies but geeeezzzzzz they suck of all of your time! I get so caught up in their daily activities I forget to do things that are necessary for my pursuit to career  bliss!

And that leads me on to my favorite subject of all........SACRIFICE......The word most people hate to use, think of or do! I don't care how much of a wonderful, caring perfect mom you think you are you absolutely hate having to not do something that was/is of grave importance to you. Anything from homework, no babysitter, its a school night, wont get back in time for the bus and Dr appoitments are all the things that I loathe! I probably sound like I am complaining..... Probably..... But who cares because if I don't say it then who will!

WELL, WELL, WELLLLLL....... The husband! I was talking to one of my best mom friends and we complain to each other all the time about our men... and we have come to the conclusion that they all meet once a week to make sure that they are all on the same accord. They discuss when to annoy you, when to ask what you've been doing all day, ( My absolute favorite question! ; Cleaning up after your children, cooking, chasing a 1 year old and pulling dog food and any other object he finds in dark corners of the house out of his mouth. Clean up again because the first cleaning was null in void. Homework while chasing a 1 year old who eats inedible objects.  Finishing dinner. And one last cleaning before you get home.... no literally like 10 min before you get home!) what's for dinner?
And how come you don't go to the gym! AND THEN want us to work and help out! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Sure, I'll be a full time stay at home mom and work....... AMAZING! Almost like a display at a freak show!

Ladies with this all being said, someone has to say it so why not me! I am a mom and wife trying to manage a Makeup Artistry career, just like you! Its ok to scream, to sit in the bathroom with the door locked crying, to have a glass of wine at night, to complain! ITS OK. We are strong and sometime doing those things is what makes us stronger! Because God knows that men couldn't do it!
