Brush It On
Hey readers!!! So lately I've been asked what brushes are the best. Which ones are essential to every makeup bag, and which are my favorite! Well I am a girl who loves to keep things to a minimum and make sure that most of my brushes have multiple use. So here's a list of not only, what you should have but what brushes I use and where to get them!
Every girl needs these brushes in their bag:
-Foundation brush (sponge's harbor bacteria and can cause breakouts, and what may seem like an allergic reaction. So THROW THEM AWAY!!!!)
-Concealer Brush
-Powder brush/ Blush Brush (If you find the perfect size you can use one brush for both)
-Flat Shadow brush
-Blending brush (great for the crease, corner for smoky eye and blending out concealer)
-Thin liner brush
-Angled Brush (easy way to fill brows)
***Pease be advised I am not getting paid for talking about these or any other products/companies on my blog. I simply love these products/companies and want to share them with the world!!
Some of the brushes are truly and investment in prices. I love to mix high low simply because I don't have tons money to spend on brushes and some brushes deserve the extra money!
The company Morphe Brushes is simply Amazing!!! They have great brushes for great prices. For a blending brush I love the Morphe C330 brush ($4.29). It is tapered so that it fits into the crease perfectly for blending. It also excellent for blending out your concealer.
Not all people need this, but I love a contoured face! To me it gives a defined look. For that I am in love with the Morphe C437 brush ($6.99). It is small and soft so that it blends out your contour perfectly!
For applying shadow with very little fallout and getting that pigment really pressed in; I use the M.A.C. #239 Brush ($25). I know its a little steep but M.A.C. brushes last for 10 years!!! So its an investment to your makeup future!!

Foundation is where I get all the questions. How to get that finished look, that airbrushed look with out the machine! Well I have 2 favorites right now!
The M.A.C. #287 Dual Fiber Brush ($42). I know its a little steep but I promise its worth it! The long and short bristles allow for the air to past threw and give an airbrushed look. Not only can it be used for foundation but it can be put directly into powder to set that foundation in! No whipping or cleaning it can be used for 3 things; 1. Foundation (cream or liquid), 2. Powder, 3. Blush. So its worth the price tag, you get great use out of it!!!!

Another favorite I have is the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush ($9). This is almost like the dual fiber but the bristles are shorter. It gives a real close to face touch giving an air brushed look! Due to the shape of the brush, when used sideways it is perfect for applying concealer.
For Blush and powder I hate having 2 separate brushes. Like I said I love when my brushes have multiple uses. For that I use the Real Techniques Blush Brush ($9). This brush is amazing at helping to apply the blush at the apples of the cheek. Due to it being tapered you can also powder the whole face and be sure to catch the little corners of the eyes and nose!
Since the trend is to have the perfect cat eye, I love using the M.A.C. #210 brush ($20). Its is so skinny that you get the perfect thin line. This brush also allows you to build the liner to the thickness of your perfect cat eye!
And that ladies are the brushes that I love! Be sure to clean your brushes with brush cleaner once a week and fully wash them once a month with baby soap. With all the money you spend you want them to last a long time and continue to give you the perfect look!!!
Thank you all for reading and continue to be inspired while inspiring!
